Hiking and Traveling – Discourses on Minerva
Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/paul_jkrause/ (@paul_jkrause). Some of you may know, many of you may not, hiking and traveling is one of the best uses of time in life. Time is the most valuable asset we have as humans. You can squander it, or you can utilize it. One of the blessings of my life is the ability to hike and travel. After all, one doesn’t — and shouldn’t — be imprisoned to read and write in a cell (an office, or your “work desk”). Read and write in nature! Or just dwell in the majesty of our world. As such, I’ve begun to document some of my hiking and nature adventures and travels on Instagram. Anyone who wants to see the other side of a humanities life can follow along and hopefully be inspired to spend time in our world we inhabit. Contrary to what you hear on the news, our earth is beautiful and still is beautiful. Included here are a few recent photos from a hike along the Appalachian Trail in Virginia:
